Macintosh OS 7 Dial-Up Instructions

  1. Install your modem. Follow instructions in your modem manual.

  2. From the Apple Menu select the Chooser. In the lower-right corner of the Chooser, by Apple Talk, choose Active. Restart your computer.

  3. From the Apple Menu select Control Panels, and open the PPP Control Panel.
    Enter your username, password and the number closest to your location. (Refer to number list below)

  4. In the Apple Menu go to Control Panels and open the TCP/IP Control Panel. Make sure all settings in your TCP/IP Control Panel are similar to the Panel below.



  5. Restart your Computer.

  6. You're now ready to connect to SawNet.
