From the Apple Menu go to Control Panels and open up the Remote Access Control Panel. Enter your username, password and the number your modem will dial for connection. (Refer to the list of numbers located below, choose a number closest to your location.)

From the Apple Menu go to Control Panels and open the TCP/IP Control Panel. Make sure your TCP/IP Control Panel is configured like the one below.

Restart your Computer.
