Dial-Up Instructions

Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop,
then go to Dial-Up Networking.
- Double click on
Make New Connection and enter SawNet as the
name for the computer that
you are dialing and select your modem type.
Click Next.
- Select a number closest
to your location from the list below.

RIGHT click on the SawNet icon and select properties.
Below
is the SawNet connection Properties window.
- Click on the Server
Types tab. Be sure that the Log on to network
box is not checked. Under the
Allowed network protocols, be sure that the ONLY box checked
is the TCP/IP box.
- Click on the TCP/IP Settings tab and enter the Primary
DNS and Secondary DNS addressses located in the boxes
below. Click OK.
- Click on the Scripting and Multilink tabs and
check to see that they are both blank.
- Click OK. You're now ready to connect to SawNet.
How to connect to SawNet
- Click on the SawNet icon. Enter your username
and password and click Connect.
- When you connect you will see the following box.
